One advantage of using the CleverHTML Editor is that you can prepare the content of your pages in Microsoft Office® programs and then just copy and paste the information into the pages which you make in your CleverHTML Editor. All the formatting which you carefully set around your text any of the Office programs, Word, Access or Excel, will be preserved. With some other Editors, after transferring your material like this, you would also have to carefully go through your webpage(s), checking that your data is still just the way you set it up. You may also copy the content of web pages which you view in the Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox web browsers directly in to the page you are making with CleverHTML Editor. But, you should never do this with any pages for which you do not have specific permission to copy from! You must always ensure that you respect other people’s copyright, to reduce the possibility of expensive legal action against you and damage to your reputation. You can create layouts for your web-pages from scratch with the CleverHTML editor but we include some basic lay-outs as examples to use, however you wish, if you are just learning to make your own pages and to save you time. The next section is a basic guide to creating your web page, a very simple one, step-by-step. You can either start with a blank page, and then make the whole thing from scratch, or you can click here if you want to start making a web page with one of the templates (web page designs), created in and supplied with CleverHTML.
