The very first thing you need to do is stop. Stop overwhelming yourself and stop panicking! Before you get started creating your first webpage or even THINKING about how it is you are going to make money on the Internet you first need to take some time out of your life to do this exercise.. Step #1. Go somewhere quiet with a pen and paper or your PC for at least on hour Step #2. Answer the following questions HONESTLY; • Why do you want to do this? • What will your life look like when you have ‘made it’? • How much money do you want to make and by when? • What current resources and experiences do you have that you can apply to the journey ahead of you? • Who do you know who will be able to help and support you along the way ? (friends, colleagues, loved ones, family) • What do you THINK it will take from you to get to where you want to be? • What sort of person will you need to become to achieve your goal? Step #.3. Review your answers and expand where possible It’s crucial that you provide as much detail as possible in your answers and make sure you write down WHY achieving each of things is so important to you. You now need to get a large piece of cardboard and start sticking to it your goals and targets for making money online. Get pictures of the things you want to buy (and by what date), get pictures of the places you want to go (and by what date) and get pictures of what you want in your life (and by what date). The more specific you can be, the better. You will not succeed if you miss out this step. This board you are creating is your ‘goals board’ and you need to place it somewhere you will see it ever day, preferably near your computer! Now, and only now, are you ready to get started. You will see things in a MUCH clearer and more URGENT light when you complete the above exercise BEFORE you start out on this journey. You need to believe me on this. When I first heard about it I didn’t believe it but now I live by this process and have a ‘goals board’ and a ‘GOALS ACHIEVED board’ where pictures of all the things I’ve attained get stuck to! You can do this too – it will keep your momentum going and stop you from EVER GIVING UP.
